Q.
Who owns my production mold?
The customer pays for the mold, and owns it – it is merely kept at our facility for us to make part production runs when required.
Built to withstand higher volumes of parts
Made with P20 steel or NK80 stainless steel
We maintain/repair the tool as needed
Production molds are built using P20 steel or PK80 stainless steel, so they typically last over 100,000 cycles. This durability makes production molds ideal for long-running programs that require consistent output across hundreds of thousands of molding cycles.
Since we house your mold in our facility, there is no shipping charge to send the mold to you or to a production facility of your designation.
We’ll work with you to schedule and ship production runs of your parts whenever you require them.
We will maintain your mold, at our cost, as long as you continue to run parts with us. We will also repair your mold if required. This reduces long-term ownership costs while ensuring the mold remains in optimal condition throughout its production life.
Centralized tooling management simplifies logistics, scheduling, and long-term production planning.
We will ship your tool to you or to a location of your choice on demand. But the process may take several weeks, due to overseas shipping logistics, customs and other considerations.
